Suhail Warraich - Journalist - سہیل وڑائچ
Sohail Waraich is a renowned journalist and political
analyst of Pakistan. He closely observes the politics of Pakistan and its
upcoming consequences. He is best known
for his program “Ek Din Geo ke Saath” (ایک دن جیو کے ساتھ) which is telecast twice a week on Geo TV
Network and apart from doing various TV shows
including “Merey Mutabiq” (میرے مطابق).
For some time, he has been writing a column in the “Daily
Jang Newspaper” under the title of Faiz Aam (فیض عام).
Sohail Waraich is
known for his direct and blunt questioning style and sarcastic speaking tone
and humor. His
famous tag line is His tag line is “Kya
Yeh Khula Tazad Nahi? (کیا یہ کھلا تضاد نہیں).
In his career, he has interviewed many dignitaries and
political figures and is credited for his journalistic skills where he managed
to make interesting revelations from some important personalities of Pakistan.
Sohail Waraich was born in Joharabad, Khushab in 1961 to
a Waraich Jatt family. He did his MA in English Literature from University of
the Punjab and started his career as a journalist in 1985.
Sohail Waraich's latest work "The Party Is
Over" (پارٹی ختم ہو گئی ہے۔) is a collection of
his latest columns written recently and his seventh book that has been
published. It contains the shocking revelations of Nawaz Sharif from his
ministry to his ouster. So far six of his books have been published under the
following names:
